3.4 Select and use resources
Demonstrate knowledge of a range of resources, including ICT, that engage students in their learning.
The resources I used for my prac where mainly from within the school. My mentor teacher provided some resource text books that I utilised for Math HASS and Health. The math text provided where to design home work tasks that were for on going practice for what students were learning for the week. I also selected some of my personal resources. This was mainly for students that achieving higher levels of learning and had to be challenged or extended. I also used a personal English resource that was useful in scaffolding their writing skills (Blake's Writer's Guide)
I also used ICT resources for English to generate some of the English weekly in-class and homework activities in spelling using the students Sound-waves Journal workbook list words. Some of these were challenging and some were fun and enjoyably.
