2.6 Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Implement teaching strategies for using ICT to expand curriculum learning opportunities for students.
The ICT capability learning is organised into five interrelated elements:
Students used iPads for research of the author of a book (Pinocchio) to write up their autobiographies. The computer lab was used to log into their account and published their work from their written corrected copy. They also used the iPad for creating(drawing images of characters from the text book Pinocchio.
Students were instructed how to research, which were reliable and accurate sources of information. Students enjoyed using their ipads, however, I need to move around in the classroom and view screens to ensure that students are on task and not looking at unrelated sights to the task.
