Demonstrate broad knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and teaching strategies that support participation and learning of students with disability.
As a new graduate teacher I have had experience in many areas of disability from previously working as an Education Assistant. I have worked extensively with Spina Bifida, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy , Angelemans Syndrome and in particular Autistic children within an Education Support Center and in a mainstream classroom setting. I have gained valuable (Professional Development) information and experiences working with related resources that are used in the classroom for these students.
