Use curriculum, assessment and reporting knowledge to design learning sequences and lesson plans.
With the assistance from my mentor teacher, I can access the formative and summative assessments that are set for the ORIGO online math program within the school. I discussed with my mentor teacher the pre-delivery and delivery of these assessments. I designed my own revision problems prior to the assessments so students were aware and ready revised of what to expect when they received their test papers. This had a positive affect as when I was marking their assessment papers the results were above average than I expected. In the formative assessment checkups 4 students out of 17 scored 100% on their paper and on the summative quarterly assessment the highest score was 75%.
